A 100km JourneyThe challenge began with an arrival day in Cape Town, where participants visited a Laureus Sport for Good project followed by a welcome braai and briefing. Spirits and anticipation levels were high as everyone came together to prepare for the trek ahead.Over the next four days, participants explored some of South Africa&rsquo;s most breathtaking terrain:Day 1: Starting at the Kogelberg Nature Reserve, the trek began along coastal paths, transitioning into rugged mountainous terrain. The group covered their first 25km, ending the day at Camp 1.Day 2: The journey continued through the picturesque Elgin Valley. After another 25km, participants reached the halfway point and were treated to fireside chats with our ambassadors at Camp 2, nestled in the Simonsberg mountains.Day 3: The most challenging leg took participants through the dramatic Hottentot-Holland Nature Reserve. Tackling another 25km of mountainous terrain, they celebrated their progress with a well-deserved supper and local wine tasting.Day 4: The final day brought participants into the Jonkershoek Nature Reserve and Stellenbosch&rsquo;s fertile wine region. Completing the full 100km, the group celebrated in style at the luxurious Lanzerac 5 Wine Resort*, enjoying a traditional South African Braai, music, and dance.
